What To Expect

Welcome and Congratulations!

If you are on this page you have probably already called our office and have made an appointment. Thank you for the trust and opportunity to see if we can help you. I wanted to personally welcome you into our chiropractic family. If there is anything I can do for you please, do not hesitate to ask.

In our clinic we take a wellness approach to look for underlying causes of your health conditions or concerns & will provide a personalized treatment plan. Our goal is to teach you and your family how to make whatever interventions and lifestyle changes necessary to optimize your health.

New Patient Paperwork

Upon entering the office, we have some new patient paperwork for you to fill out that will provide us with general information about yourself and your condition. For your convenience we have placed the paperwork here so that you could fill it out at your leisure. Don't have access to a computer or printer, that's OK we'll have the paperwork ready for you on your initial visit.

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your concerns regarding your health and well being. He will provide answers to all your most probing questions about chiropractic and wellness care and what it can do for you.

History and Examination

In order to assist the doctor in determining the cause of your actual problem he will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a complete and thorough examination will be performed which may include a number of specialized tests to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent. If you have been in an auto accident it will need to bring in the accident report.

Your specific condition may require a full set of X-rays to either rule out more serious conditions OR to determine if a misalignment in your spine is causing your pain or symptoms. Only the doctor will know after your consultation and examination if he feels it necessary to take them. If you have had any prior MRIs, CTs or other radiological studies it would be helpful to bring in the reports.

If X-Rays needed, we will refer you to a local facility and you will need to bring them in. The doctor will take time to read and study them when it is quiet and he is undisturbed then prepare them to be review with you on your follow up visit.

Typically the doctor will treat you on first visit. Treatment used in our office are spinal adjustments, physical therapies, manual therapy, interferential therapy, spinal decompression (Coming Soon) or cold laser therapy. Any combination of treatment modalities may be used on a single visit and may vary from visit to visit depending on the your condition. When appropriate the doctor will begin patients on an at-home rehab program. Massage therapy, facials and nail services are also offered onsite.

Schedule Your Next Appointment - The Follow Up Visit

You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are provided with a complete review of findings. This visit is VERY IMPORTANT! On this visit the doctor will take the time to discuss your condition and review your x-rays (if taken) to let you know if he can or can not help you.

At this time should you choose to initiate care in our office the doctor will treat you on the follow up visit.

After your follow up visit - It is at this time the doctor will prepare a customized treatment plan for you based on his findings from your consultation and examination, your body's response to treatment from your initial visit and the passed experience of patients with the similar conditions and symptoms.

How much will the treatment cost - the doctor will forward the treatment plan information to staff who will review it and prepare several different payment options for you based on the information you provided on your initial visit. If you are un-insurred please do not worry as we have several options to assist with budgeting.

Home Instruction

Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.
